For something on a much grander scale, try the turn-of-the-19th-century dining room of the Musée d’Orsay Restaurant, which was once part of the hotel built adjacent to the train station. It has wooden floors, marble columns, ceiling frescoes and crystal chandeliers, and a view of the Seine. There’s even a live pianist on Sunday afternoons. (For hours and other details about the restaurant and the café, click on “English,” “Practical Information” and then “Café & Restaurant.”)
